Whenever I flick a lighter, hear a lawnmower running outside my window, etc. issues will happen with my devices.

My monitor will flicker, wired keyboard might lose connection, sometimes even my (ethernet cable) internet connection will disconnect for 5-8 seconds. I understand devices like lighters and lawn mowers give off electric interference but this can interfere with online gaming where a stable connection is important.

I've replaced my old surge protector with a new, EMI resistant one but I still have weird issues like that. Could it just be the monitor? Or the displayport cable? However, the fact even my keyboard and mouse and lose connection makes me worried for my motherboard too, which those plug into.

My specs:
Acer XB270HU monitor

Corsair keyboard, mouse, and mousepad.

Solution
If there a loose connection somewhere along the wiring serving that outlet then there would/could be momentary power losses.

The tester only shows that the outlet is wired correctly with respect to hot, neutral, and ground. That does not mean that the wires are fully and securely in place.

Or the problem could be in another outlet or a light switch.

The lawnmower (gas or electric?) may be causing vibrations and if electric may cause momentary power drops.

How many devices and what devices are plugged into the new surge protector?
I used a three-light outlet tester that I had lying around, and according to the results the outlet is operating correctly. Could the outlet still be having issues that a cheap tester wouldn't recognize? Or, is there possibly something else causing these strange issues?
