Email address not confirmed?

I made this account back in 2014 and I don't remember if I ever clicked on the validation link sent to my email to confirm this account. When I check on the account page, there's a green checkmark next to my email, which I assume means it's confirmed? But I can't post any images to any of my forum posts without getting an error saying I need to confirm my email.

Do I need to make a new account or is there something else I can do?

Let's say you embed an image to one of your posts. If I quote it, it produces the same error as I described above.

This is potentially related to an error with permissions being transferred during changes to our account system last year. If you don't mind closing your account and registering again, that would be the quickest solution to this. Otherwise, I can send this up to our dev team to get your account permissions fixed up, but it may take a few days to get that processed.
