email notification

When I get the email notication that I have new email it asks me "would you
like to read it now". When I click yes it does not go to Outlook.

I have set the email program in IE to be outlook but with no luck
can someone please help me

Have you set up an account in Outlook?

yes I have set up an account in outlook and it is the default account. I am
using IMAP folders (does this make any difference)
