Enable hyperthreading

Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile T5800
the systems hyperthreading is disabled, how does one initiate this function

Core 2 Duo's do not have hyperthreading.

AS was said above, this processor does not have hyper-threading. However, if you need a processor with HT, try these:

That list is incorrect, no Core 2 CPU has hyper threading, some higher end pentium 4 CPUs had hyper threading then no more intel CPUs had hyper threading until the release of the LGA 1366 i7's. Since then, many core i series CPUs have had hyper threading but not all.

Only some i5's have hyper threading, the i5 2500 does not have hyper threading but the older i5s for the LGA 1156 socket like the i5 650 do.

I even searched his processor up: http://ark.intel.com/products/35581/Intel-Core2-Duo-Processor-T5800-(2M-Cache-2_00-GHz-800-MHz-FSB) does not support hyperthreading.
