Hello again humble forum community,
let's get straight to bussiness, how to enable fast sync? Through nvidia control panel?
IMPORTANT -> Am I correct if I say v-sync is just one type of vertical sync (as are g- and fast)?
So If last answer is yes, then by enabling fast sync in Vertical sync options (yes, I found it), does it mean it now enables Fast Sync in every game where I click Vertical Sync "ON"?
See I had this misconception for a long time that Vertical sync and V-sünc are the same thing and game needs to support other types but I never met a game that did. NOW, a minute a go I understoond (If i understoond right, I hope) that this hole thing works other way.
Last thing, Vertival sync under Manage 3D settings(global): Use the 3d Application settings, On, Off, Adaptive, Adaptive(half refresh rate) and Fast. Could someone please explain what each option means.
Long text, I hope someone finds time to read it! :)
Ohh is there any else settings that You recommend to change from default in 3d settings?
Best Regards,
Paul

Works in all games, you just don't see it. However It's intended for competitive games like CS:GO, where it applies a light form of vsync and makes sure the fps doesn't go over your monitor's refresh rate. It's for games that are running in high fps, which BF1 is not really.

Also disable in-game V-sync if you enable it.
Vertical sync and v-sync are synonymous. It means the GPU waits for the monitor to refresh before drawing the next frame. G-sync/free-sync are similar, but cause the monitor to sync to the GPU rather than the other way around. Fast-sync is Nvidia's name for what is basically just triple buffering as far as I can tell, which would be a subset of v-sync.

Yes, I get how different syncs work! Thing is by enabling fast sync in nvidia control panel, the fast sync option won't appear in games like battlefield 1, witcher 3. There is only vertical sync on/off option. Or does this enable fast sync? Do games need to support fast sync or it is available on all games?
