Can I please get some advice on how to enable Variable Refresh Rate / Adaptive Sync?

I might be just out of luck, but I was hoping this panel would work the same as the G95SC with respect to VRR. RTINGS.com did a test and found that the G95SC (not my monitor, but similar) was actually compatible with G-Sync: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/samsung/odyssey-oled-g9-g95sc-s49cg95
Am I just doing something wrong? Do I have to disable HDR in windows?
What I've tried: opening NVIDIA Control Panel using various refresh rates and with HDR on and off, and looking for "Set up G-SYNC" to appear in the left side under "Display", as described here:
Is that documentation outdated for current versions of NVIDIA drivers?
Or am I just out of luck?
