My was setting up a computer with an EnerMax INFINITI EIN720AWT PSU. The M/Board powered up for a few seconds and then the PSU went into a 2 beep interval with the LED light Red. I did not investigate whether I had plugged in something wrong (the motherboard functioned when I used a different PSU).
I traced the PSU manual and I traced my symptom to one of the conditions (Page from manual). The manual mentioned a PowerGuard feature that is activated using the reset button. I followed that but I still can't get it to work. When I plugged a bunch of hard disks to ensure that the minimum load is reached, the Buzzer does not sound but the Red light comes on.
Is there any suggestion as to what I could try before throwing it away?
