Epson 1280 problems

Using Photoshop 7 with or without color management the Epson print preview
window has a strong pink cast that prints out on the image. Recalibrating
the monitor, uninstalling/reinstalling drivers and Photoshop have not
helped. Switching cables and USB ports has not helped. Once in a while, for
reasons I cannot reproduce, the print preview window shows approximately
correct color and the image prints beautifully. In some low end
photoprograms the print preview image has approximately correct color and
prints reasonably well (although obviously not as well as using Photoshop).
This was a previously stable WinXP system that has printed successfully for
a long time.

Try your monitor and printer on another computer, if possible. If not take
them to your dealer to check them out. If all is okay then you know it has
something to do with the computer, or one of the cards. It is possible for
the display card to cause such faults.
