ERROR: setup has failed to create partition.

Well, hello guys... I got into a big problem today...
I was installing Windows 8.1 x64 version today, and when i tried to go into custom and install into C drive, it said:
setup has failed to create partition
I tried formatting C drive but still,did not help
Then i tried re installing Windows 7 ultimate x64, and it too had the same issues.....

Try deleting the existing Windows partition first so it leaves just unallocated space. Then try installing Windows on that. Don't create a partition for it, nor format. Windows Setup can do all that. (Well it can if you make sufficient unallocated space for it first, that's probably why you've got the problem).
