Hello!

This is not an uncommon issue as you can find other people on the internet struggling with the same issues you're currently having.

Dolgwol a member of the Microsoft forums stated, "I've had the same problem, then I deleted all the files inside the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder and run the setup again and it got past that error."

Though this member was successful, and was affirmed by 329 other people as a solution to said problem, it should still be noted that messing around with file directories, in this case Microsoft updates, while usually there's nothing to worry about, because the directories when necessary in most cases will re-create themselves, can be detrimental to the systems functionality.

While I do give warning to deleting file directories, I'd advise against worry in this case as a majority of the public (including myself) have verified this as a valid solution.

Hope I was of some help!

Thanks for the replies, unfortunately bouth solutions wont work.
I've tried 3 different USB drives (all different brands) also tried 2 pc's.
also cleared the softwaredistribution download folder.
still same error 🙁

A site I used to use was REDACTED.com. While I never attempted to activate windows 10 with it, I can ensure you that it is a full copy of windows 10 and will most likely suite your needs.

I then used Rufus to create a bootable usb flash drive, and successfully install windows on a few of my PC's

Hope this was of some help!

If the verified ISO from Microsoft does not work (for whatever reason), why would something from the scam site (that serves preactivated OS's) work any better?
(and I use that word for a reason)
