Question ESD through case?

I may be being a bit too paranoid since I’m a first time builder but...
So while my pc was running I noticed the viewing panel was a bit dirty so I gave it a few wipes with a microfiber cloth.
The cloth built up some static as I wiped across the surface and I’m a bit worried I might have given off a shock and damaged something.
My case is a thermaltake core v21 micro atx cube.
