After installing an automatic update to my PC some weeks ago, I've been unable to access my internet, getting "'Ethernet 2' doesn't have a valid IP configuration". However if I reinstall a previous version of Windows via downloading the ISO and installing it through a flashdrive, my networking will work on the PC until I restart it, then the problem resumes. Windows doesn't go through the update process when I restart it this time though. I've tried many solutions, but I'm unsure if trying them when my connection is functioning properly makes a difference from trying the same method when it isn't. Any help would be much appreciated.
