Suddenly, my Ethernet is no longer working.

It should appear in my Network Adaptor list, but only my WiFi does:

Here is the list on device manager:

Can anyone advise how I can get my Ethernet working? I've tried re-installing the Windows 10 Ethernet driver but it tells me there are no compatible Intel devices for this :/ The Ethernet port is built into my Asrock K6 motherboard.

Yes I've tried all the relevant drivers there too, to no avail.

Actually, the Ethernet Adaptor becomes visible when I show hidden devices in Device Manager.

It is greyed out though, driver installed but hardware not detected maybe?

Edit: Don't worry I did some fancy sh*t and its fixed. (Literally just opened up my pc and replugged all the wiring)

I had a similar problem when resetting my computer.

What worked for me was that I found an installation disk (which came with the motherboard) which installed the driver for ethernet (also realtek sound etc.)

After running the disk and following the installation wizard and a quick computer restart, everything worked!

EDIT: You figured it out lol don't worry !
