I have my main server downstairs. It is connected to a gigabit swichter. That is ran about 100 feet via CAT6 to a R6400 Router. It then is connected to a 2nd router near my room about another 100 feet down the line. When I connect my computer and run Iperf3 I get about 250mb/s in my room. So I thought maybe the distance or multiple routers were messing with it. So, I connected a 25' CAT6 to the 1st router. Got the same speed. Kind of a head scratcher, but ok. Then I disconnected the master input to the 1st router and plugged it directly into my computer. BAM 750mb/s. So what is it within the router that is crushing my bandwidth? It is gigabit router so I am confused.
