ethernet controller was not found

THe ethernet controller was not found,the mobo is not accepting any lan connection.pls help ASAP

What OS are you running?
Have you installed all of the drivers for your motherboard?
What does it say under network controllers in your device manager? (If you are using windows)

i m running win 7 64bit,yes i have installed all the drivers but the drivers in the device manager are hidden.

If there are no network devices listed in your device manager then you need to find any unrecognized devices and update drivers for them. One of those will be your network adapter. You will need to either download the driver from the manufacturers website or use the one that came with your motherboard.
