Recently i upgraded my PC, and after doing so and upgrading to windows 10, my Ethernet does not seem to function at all. It does not show any networks.
I have tried using my mobo's driver disc, to no avail.
I have tried to download the driver off of MSI's website, also to no effect.
I have tried downloading drivers off of Intel's site, which only seems to give me more options in the properties settings, but no actual internet access through the Ethernet.
I have flashed my BIOS to the newest version.
I have the LAN controller activated/enabled in the BIOS settings.
I have tried to activate/deactivate the LAN controller several times.
I have tried using the windows device manager to update the drivers, nothing so far. It only tells me that "the best drivers" are already being used.
The Ethernet cable in question was in working condition before the mobo swap.
In the BIOS board explorer, it shows that something is connected, however, like mentioned above, no connection is available.
The Ethernet port has its LED's flashing, so at least something seems to work.
I have tried updating windows, still not fixed.
I only get one error when I look at the trouble shooter:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.
Any suggestions would be helpful, I'm tired of trying to get this to work with no solution in sight.
