[SOLVED] Ethernet does not work at all

As the title states my ethernet does not work at all, I've tried the Windows troubleshooter, not much help, looked at tutorials, useless, someone mind helping?
Edit: It now says "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration"

Some background please ... Is this a new build? Has your ethernet EVER worked? Do you have a direct cable from your PC to the router or are there wallplates?

Nope not a new build, was working earlier, then it suddenly stopped working. Yes I do have a direct cable

What is that? Nothing has changed, I was just in a CS:GO game then the ethernet went down

A link light is a light on the ethernet card that indicates a connection with a switch. The activity light is a second light that indicates any ethernet traffic on the link.
