Ethernet Jack Giving under 1/3 of the speed we paid for.

Hi, so my house contains 2 Ethernet jacks, one in the master bedroom and one in a room on the lower floor. I currently use Wave Broadband and have paid for the 250 download/10 upload plan. When using the Ethernet jack connected to the master bedroom, I get a solid 240-260 mbps. But, when I use the Ethernet jack on he lower floor, I would get 60-80 mbps. How do I fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

Start by re-terminating both ends of the cable that goes to the lower floor. Most likely problem is either bad termination or bad cable.
