EVGA 1070 FTW2, is it worth it?

Well is it worth it or not? I am going to buy it brand new from EVGA's site, gonna try and use the Affirm program ($36/month for 12 months) so it doesn't annihlate my bank account.

It seems to be the best card on their site for the price/specs, mostly because EVGA is trying to get rid of those cards to likely get warehouse space for the 11/20 series.

I have determined that my PSU is enough for the GPU.

1: There is nothing wrong with those cards
2: Those cards didn't pass EVGA's "highest" overclocking and stress tests to be qualified as FTW cards so they are sold under the FTW2 label.
3: All it means is that they most likely won't overclock as well as the FTW cards.
4: I personally think EVGA has some of the best warranties on the market. Very easy to deal with. (from my experience)

Thanks, I've been waiting for at least a year to finally see the prices go down like this. Overclocking really isn't an issue for me as the 1070 is already pretty overkill for what I'm trying to do.

If I am not mistaken, the card offered is new and should perform as well as any other GTX1070 FTW2.
The unique thing is that they are offering a monthly payment plan and a discount.

Looks like a bargain to me.

It is better than that. The total price is less than what they are asking for the same B-stock card.
