hello
sorry for spelling mistakes
i resently boght a gtx 1070 and i tried to test in with a few things (novabench, nicehash miner)
the usage wont go above 70 present
my assomption is that it cant draw enough power from the psu
i have a seasonic ssr-550rt witch sould be enough
i am using a 6+2 pin pci-e connected to the 1 8pin plug in the gpu
when i test the gpu these is what the sensor board in gpu-z looks like

these are my specs:
windows 10
gpu-evga 1070 superclocked
cpu-intel core i7-4790 3.60GHz
psu-seasonic ssr-550rt -550w
a 1080 screen
thanks in advance

Using a 1070Ti on a 1080p resolution is most likely the reason for your problem. In most titles this card cannot be fully utilised @1080p even on highest details unless you have a heavily OC-ed CPU, preferably over 4.5GHz. And yours is not OC-able anyway.

55% CPU usage only means that not all cores/threads are being used, and it depends on the game, of course, but speed of individual threads is what matters the most here. So you are definitely bottlenecked by the CPU, simply owing to the fact that the game you play does not know how to use all the threads.

every time i over clock it a bit the results of the benchmarks are getting abit worse
i susspect the pci-e cabels more and more

can this hurt my gtx 1070?
if not then im hapy with what i have got

i dont know if i use vsync
i do use a 1080 60 hz monitor
i think the bottelneck is the cpu as herrwizo said
