Good morning everyone. My current rig is Corsair 400C case with an MSI Z170 Gaming M7 motherboard and an intel 6700k i7 processor overclocked to 4.5 ghz and aio watercooled by a thermaltake 3.0. 32 GB DDR4 Ram Corsair Dominator Platinum at 3000mhz. PSU is 1000watt gold rated from EVGA. Using 2 EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 cards in SLI. In Mass Effect Andromeda as well as other games my FPS is actually worse with SLI than with a single card. On a single FTW3 full max settings on Mass Effect Andromeda 1440p resolution, I am getting 86-120 fps lowest dip i've seen is 86 in unoptimized areas. With SLI I am getting 75-100 fps.. won't even go past 100 fps.. Am I doing something wrong here? The CPU usage is at 56-70% most of the time so I do not think that it is botttlenecking. As far as bridge I am using an MSI HB bridge the double connection one recommended by Nvidia, running windows 10 64bit pro and latest drivers. Cards are overclocked to 2110 mhz on core clock and a +400 on the memory, stable.. the top card usually reaches 70*C and lower card around 55*C with the fan profile at max. Anyone have any thoughts why this is happening? Also on the watercooled thermaltake the CPU reaches 71*C sometimes.. as if it is on air not on water, lol. In near future I plan to custom loop the entire system.. as of now there are no Hybrid Kits available for FTW3 1080Ti or custom waterblocks.
