Question EVGA 550 N1, 550W Problem

Just finished an AMD Ryzen 2200G build used a ASUS B450 MOBO. Crucial MX500 SSD.

When I was done and had checked everything I plugged it in and turned on the PSU. Didn't have anything. Couldn't turn on the PC with the Power button. Nothing. I grabbed the power cord and even though it was seated I wiggled it a bit. It started sparking where the cord plugs in (From PSU) the LEDs came on on the MOBO. Then Nothing. I unplugef everything and took the connections off the MOBO. Still no PSU fan and some sparking @ the back of the PSU.

ANYONE?

Wonder what all is fried if you had to guess.

Sounds like your PSU might be faulty. How OLD is this model ? That isn't the very best of power supplies supplied by EVGA though, build/quality wise that is. Very poor...

It's brand new. Was first power up.

I am hoping it didn't take anything else out. I was going to let it lost. Go into the bios and set the ram speeds and a couple of other things then install Arch Linux

Sounds like your PSU didn't pass the power up test. Very poor model in terms of quality at EVGA's lower end. Made by HEC and they do not make quality power supplies.
