$360 for a 112 SP oc'ed 8800GTS. It's a G80 not a G92 though, but confirmed by an evga mod on their forums it's 112 SP. I'm not sure how this 8800GTX reject will stack up to a 8800GT, but it's in stock and has a dual slot cooler.

I wish it was a new G92 8800GTS though. Considering my Amazon evga 8800GT KO preorder is now listed as shipping December 31, 2007 :heink: I'll still keep looking around.

To Quote an evga tech in their forums: "To answer your questions, yes, this card has 112 Stream Processors.

Also, a version of this card is available for step-up, and this is part number 640-P2-N824-A1.

Thanks, "

It took some poking and prodding to get them to outright admit it. Here is the link: http://evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=143186&mpage=2&key=

I see it beat the 8800GT in Crysis at a quick glance:

If I remember correctly the new 3000 series Ati cards will have something like... 320 SP's . Will that mean they will be twice as fast ?

Step-up? Like...upgrade with a firmware??? Tradein for a discounted price? I'm not sure what model I have but I'm very interested, please elaborate.

Ur gonna hate life when EVGA releases their G92 GTS with 128 shaders for $308 USD in the first week of December.

If you have got to buy something now, get an EVGA 8800GT stock and "step-up" to the G92 GTS after Christmas when the prices come down.

mitchellvi they aren't, the 112SP 8800gts 640mb is ALREADY released. The only rumor going round now is of a dual G92 card, 7950GX2 style. No 128SP super card for december. If you have any links to this though that would be nice.

The 112SP one is already on sale, as you can see in the post before there is already a review, EVGA card.

As far as i know it still doesn't have as many texture units or the clock speed of the 8800GT? Seems to beat it in higher res and stuff. The normal 640mb card I have yet to see beat the 8800GT in anything. Over clocking taken into account its completly trumped.

The ATI cards 320SP's don't utilize things as effectively as the nvidia ones, current 2900xt has 320SP's but doesn't have 2x performance of the rival nvidia with 128 at max.
