Hi,

I ordered a EVGA GTX 1080 SC2 with a PSU for about $500 from B&H. Today, I was informed that card has been discontinued, and so they offered to replace that card with a GTX 1080 FTW2 DT at no extra cost.

Which card is better, or is the performance difference negligible? Should I accept this replacement?

Side note, I noticed they do have a listing on their site for a SC2 marked as "special order." That makes me think they still have some in stock and so I'm wondering why I can't receive the product I ordered.

Solution
FTW2 DT is simply a FTW2 without a factory overclock. They also don't have cherry picked GPUs so there's a way higher chance of getting a very low overclocker.

But, it's not like overclocking on the core increases FPS that much anyways, either way, manually overclocking a FTW2 DT is going to be faster than any standard SC or FTW2 card.
