EVGA GTX 295 Bsod errors.

I'm getting BSOD's with a new recently installed EVGA GTX 295. I was previously using a GTX 260 SC and never had any problems. After getting and installing 295 I ran 3DMARK and it ran fine. P21686. Then I ran crysis warhead and it crashed in seconds and bsod'd. The error code it shows is as follows: (this happens every time I play this game)

I am currently running the 182.5 drivers and uninstalled in device manager, deleted previous driver folder, restarted in safe mode, used driver sweeper, rebooted and installed 182.50, then rebooted. I have tried this twice. I have also tried 185.66 and same thing. I went back to 182.55 because it's not a beta and therefore...maybe...supposed to be proven to work.

Just trying to figure out if I have 1. a defective card, 2. insufficient power supply (thermaltake 750W W0116RU: says combined 60W on [ http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx...264&ID=1508 ] so that should be sufficient) or 3. I have no idea and maybe someone could have some advice

Uninstall the drivers in control panel and use driver cleaner to get rid of all nvidia drivers then install the latest drivers.PSI is plenty powerfull for a single gtx 295.

My BFG GTX295 is not installed in a rig that is foreign from yours, however, my 920 is running @ 3.6Ghz, I'm using 12GB of RAM on a Asus P6T Deluxe. I'm using the exact same PSU as you and the same OS...I see we even have the same case. Anyways.

Consider dropping your CPU back a little bit and see if that makes a difference. Also, are there any patches for Crysis that you don't have installed?

i have the latest patches for crysis as well as removal of drivers in control panel and then using driver cleaner. Reinstalled drivers and I still get same problem.

Boot into safe mode and uninstall the driver...

Boot back into safe mode and install the LATEST driver.

I had major issues with my two 295's until I did that and then all was well in graphicsville.

I've done that. I've also reinstalled chipset drivers, and reset my overclock back to stock. at this point I guess it has to either be that I need a PSU above the min spec required for the 295 or I got a bad card.

Hi there guys,

I have the same issues. Mine is a Zotac GTX 295. Can run 3dmark vantage repeatedly without error, while for example WoW, Grid crashes with nvlddmkm.sys in less than 2 minutes.

Have you finally resolved this issue? Please, any help would be appreciated.
