Anyone know why you cant get this card? I dont understand the problem with availability.

Supply and demand... At the moment there is more demand than supply, hence the problem with availability.

Yeah, supply will increase over time and demand will die down eventually. Just a matter of time.

the gtx670 is so close in performance to the gtx680 at a far lower price that i wouldnt even consider the gtx680

and the gtx670 isnt in short supply

Nvidia really really screwed up. They are having major production problems. This is almost as bad as a recall. They can only produce a handfull of the chips needed to make their units. It's pathetic.

There are some at Tiger Direct. Last I checked.

Yes due to the low availability i went with a Zotac Gtx 680, and i'm really impressed with the performance, way better than my old 560 ti SLI.
I was considering the 670 but on my country it is not even on sale right now...and in the very few places i can find it the price way higher than what i have paid on the 680...

Well what i can tell is, it worths the waiting.
