Hi!
I have been getting random fps drops in game (DOTA 2, League of Legend, Counter Strike) and it is quite annoying and I need help!
My computer spec:
I7-2600 CPU
GTX 950 SSC
8 GB Ram
600 WATT Power Supply
120 SSD: OS
700 GB HDD: GAMES/APPS/MOVIES
If the fans are blocked or broken them that will definitely cause the card to overheat, which will cause the card to throttle its power down to avoid damage. Clean out your computer with a can of compressed air every month or so to avoid these problems. Just make sure when you blow on a fan you hold it still.
What are your average FPS? Current settings? Background processes, even antivirus?
Is this a new setup or a new problem? If it's a new problem, what changed? Graphics drivers, program updates?

My fps averages around 150-200 and drops drastically to 45-30 fps in 1-3 second. Windows defender. It's a new problem, fps drops randomly to 45-30 fps. I am not really sure if there was a change or update, at first I thought it was just a bug but then it kept on randomly dropping and all of my games run at ultra high. Should i reinstall OS?
Let's not go crazy now. Let's see if we can find the source before we resort to a reinstall.
Try a clean install of the graphics drivers first. Going back a version wouldn't hurt to try either, if you're not sure of the cause. You can find old versions under C:\NVIDIA by default. http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2767677/clean-graphics-driver-install-windows.html

So it tried to reinstall my graphic card but my fps still drops randomly. The thing i am curious about is when i opened my computer and looked at my graphic card it was kinda hot and the fans arent spinning! is that the problem?
