hi guys ,

actually i have 2 questions ,

i have had GTX 470 for 6 years and last week it died suddenly , and know i'm trying to find the best choice among those 2 cards 😀

EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+, Whisper Silent Cooling Graphics Card 02G-P4-2966-KR - 175 $

http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Whisper-Graphics-02G-P4-2966-KR/dp/B00SL2TQ2C?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_3&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

and

XFX DOUBLE DISSIPATION R9 380 990MHZ XXX OC 2GB DDR5 DISPLAYPORT HDMI DUAL DVI Graphics Cards R9-380P-F22M - 180 $

http://www.amazon.com/XFX-DISSIPATION-DISPLAYPORT-Graphics-R9-380P-F22M/dp/B00ZFNDRFC?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_4&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

The next question is :

would my power supply fit those cards ??

its
Huntkey 600w balance king

+12v1 16 A , +12v2 16 A , +12v3 16 A , +12v4 16 A

its worth mentioning that GTX 470 was working with this PSU very well.

*is it possible that the power supply damaged the card ? (GTX 470)

Thanks

R9 380 is like 4-5% better in raw performance but Nvidia has low power consumption, better driver support and a lot more exclusive features. Now it depends on what you want. Personally, I would pick the 960 just because of Nvidia.

Secondly, don't go for 2GB card. Get 4 GB, 2GB is going to be outdated very soon.

Thanks for your suggestions , and abt the PSU can it damage a vga card or that is not considerable ?

Your PSU should run the 960. GTX 470 uses power than GTX 960.

Thank you i will try to find one in my country's local shops , because importing one from outside is very costly in my country.
