Whenever i launch any game my explorer quickly restarts (desktop and taskbar refresh) , and that causes my games to open a little bit slower. When i go into the events viewer there's a warning sign on winlogon and when i open it , it says the shell stopped unexpectedly and explorer.exe was restarted, and a the same things shows up again whenever i open a game. I've run chkdsk and sfc and everything seems fine, i really don't want to do a fresh windows install because i've reinstalled windows like 3 times since last month and it is a pain to set everything up again, hope somebody can help.

Solution
are they all steam games?

see if this helps
right click start button
choose powershell (admin)
type SFC /scannow and press enter
once its completed, copy/paste this command into same window:
Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth and press enter
SFC fixes system files, second command cleans image files, re run SFC if it failed to fix all files and restart PC
