Exporting favorites from Internet explorer

I have had problems exporting/importing my favorites from internet explorer and email addresses in outlook. Anyone else had this problem? I am looking for a better way to handle this. Is there any way I can import a spreadsheet(maybe excel) of internet addresses for IE and email addresses for outlook?

FAvorites:
C:\Windows, copy your favorites folder to wherever you want to back it up.

Emails- outlook express: TOOLS/OPTIONS, click MAINTENENCE, than STORE FOLDER, this will allow you to specify where you want your inbox/outbox etc stored. OR if its just a temp backup you need, outlook express, edit/export/messages

Addressbook - outlook express, edit/export/messages

In Outlook rahter than express, tools/import-export will also allow this, not sure about changing the store folder in outlook thoug, I use express.
