Extend Volumes without affecting data?

I need to extend my E partition from D on my Windows 7. Can I do so without affecting any drives data?

i have done this many times using both the built in windows disk management as well as 3rd party software and not had any issues of losing data.

it is ALWAYS a good idea to back up data anyway as nothing is 100% error proof. but i consider it perfectly safe to do and not had any major data loss from doing it myself.

Well you can try easeus partition manager free.

you should backup your drive if there is any imp files.
