Question Extend wifi outdoor with tplink eap225

Hi,
I want to extend my home wifi to my garage with a tplink eap225.
Distance is not a big issue, but the building has a metal structure.
So let's say signal can go through the metal structure, i just need wifi devices and maybe a router AP if i need to connect wired device.
But if signal can't go through the metal structure, what can i install outside garage to receive eap225 signal?
Tplink site show an example with 2 eap225 and an AP behind the eap225 receiver but i would avoid too many device.
I was thinking to use an AP with removable antennas and install outside garage one of those 2-3 meters antennas extension but i don't know if they really works with those small cables.
Do you have others suggestions or better solutions on how resolve this?

Signal can't go through metal. Use wired ethernet suggested by @BFG-9000 if you can. This way you can only connect wifi devices indoor however.

To let garage have wired and wifi devices connected to the house without wire between house and garage, you need at least one outdoor CPE and one indoor (router) AP.
