Here's my idea. My CPU uses a thermaltake HSF and the fan is 80mm. I'd
like to cut a hole in the side panel of my case directly over this, and
add another 80mm fan to the case. Then, connect the 2 with some kind of
duct. There will be outside air blowing directly onto the HSF, instead
of the CPU fan just using case air.
Any downside to this? Should I just place one fan in the case and not
attach the thermaltake fan at all? Anyone tried this before?
Thanks!
