New computer

In my prior PC, I had a E: Drive as an internal drive.

While setting up my new PC, I temporarily used the HD as an external USB drive.

To my recollection, no changes were made to the disk.

When I installed the HD as an internal drive today, it is not recognized.

It has power but doesn't how up under Disk Management or File Explorer.

Any ideas?

thanks in advance

You need to select a Physical Device, not a Logical Disk.

If your drive doesn't appear as a Physical Device in DMDE, then something is physically wrong with it.

If you are unable to obtain a SMART report (eg CrystalDiskInfo, GSmartControl), then this would also suggest a physical problem.
