[SOLVED] External graphic card and RAM RAZER

Hi!

I'm using RAZER Blade 15'' mostly for 3d Max 2020, Corona, and Vray rendering. It is a bit slow to render and started to make a bit of noise (I also think I should clean it).

Specs:
Processor: INTEL Core i7-8750H CPU @2.20GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card
16 GB RAM

Do you think it could help to upgrade to 32 GB RAM (that the max this model allows) and get an external graphic card?

Which models of external graphic cards would you suggest?

You should notice a little bit of snappier improvements upgrading to 32GB of RAM, Though the RAM baseline for CAD software like 3D Max is 8GB, so 16GB should be enough - unless you are literally seeing your RAM being used up to 100% capacity.

As for eGPU, you just need a dedicated eGPU case and whatever card that you can get in your budget. The RTX 2070 is a good price to performance card that should help out in your workload. Just make sure the card can physically fit in the case:

If I get the Razer - Core X, which RTX 2070 would you suggest? It seems like the price range is 350-1500eur... and I have no idea what the difference is
