If i plug my external toshiba HDD in USB 3.0 port it's not detected in pc (disk management, device manager, mypc). After continous removing and re-inserting the HDD for 10 times its finally detected. Then again after use and ejecting, if reinserted it is not detected.
Everytime HDD fan is running(i feel the vibration), but its light is not ON.

How to check whether its problem with any detecting sensor. Is there seperate sensor for usb detection?

I used HDDscan tool to see S.M.A.R.T and other checks which shows no errors.

Does it do the same thing on all usb ports?

If you plug it into a different machine does it do the same thing?
