after replacing the graphic card, my PC is booting up very slow. Each character - on the boot screen - is showing up one by one. So, about 20 minutes later my login screen is showing up. Also, my BIOS recognizes only 2,8 MB RAM instead of 4 MB installed. Once started up, everything is working normal (but with only 2,8 MB RAM)

configuration:
Intel Core 2 1,86 MHz
4 MB RAM
Award Bios 6.00 PG (04/13/07)
Motherboard MS-7318
Asus Nvidia GeForce GT220 1 MB

Did you uninstall all previous video drivers before installing new gpu? Yes

Did you previously have onboard video? No

Did you disable onboard video in bios? Yes

That's more then likely your problem.[/quotemsg]

I would reset my bios to defaults and see if you regain the memory.
