Hey all,
Thanks in advance for reading. After a power cut recently any time launching a game I'm getting extremely low fps (3-12fps depending on the game). I can see that the GPU clock/memory clock max out when this happens (with a corresponding increase in temperature), but I'm not sure what the cause could be as the PC is plugged into a surge protector and has gotten through previous power cuts without issue.
Specs:
Z97-Pro
GTX 970
i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50 GHz
16GB (2x8GB) Corsair Vengeance (DDR3)
Corsair CS 650W PSU
Windows 8.1 Pro (64 bit)
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
