Question Ezviz DL05 Smart Lock Connection Error

I have an Ezviz smart lock, and it usually works great. However, the other day, while I was on a trip, the lock gave me five notifications around 5 a.m. about disconnecting from the Wi-Fi. I checked my door camera, which notifies me of movement, and there was nothing unusual.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened. Previously, I assumed it was because I hadn’t reserved the lock's IP address on my modem. But this time, I double-checked everything:

  • The Wi-Fi signal is strong.
  • The bandwidth is excellent.
  • My camera, which is equally sensitive, isn’t showing any connection issues.
I’m wondering if the lock has undergone an update or if there’s another reason for these disconnections. Has anyone experienced something similar or found a solution? Any advice would be appreciated!

I'd surmise that you just had blips on the wifi.
