OK. I am computer savy by trade, but HARDWARE and Networking are not my strong points.
I have an ASUS router - on the bottom it says: "MODEL: RT-AC66R" but then lower, in smaller print right above an FCC designation is says "ASUS RT-AC66U". So I am not sure of the actual model.
My question:
When I installed the router a few years ago, I changed the password and do not remember it (it is not saved in my usual place where I save such things either).
I also changed the network name (ie - all wireless devices connect to SSID of "myhousenetwork" with a passkey phrase).
We have many devices in the house -family of 4!
IF I perform a factory reset in order to reset the user id and password in order to access the GUI for the router -- THEN re-name the SSID and passkey phrase to EXACTLY THE SAME as it currently is -- will all my devices reconnect ?
Thank you
