Factory reset wd my passport

I messed up the whole thing from loading it on my computer. I uninstalled the drive, so it is not on my computer any more. but when I plug the my passport back in all thats on there is to lock and unlock. Can you please HELP??

There is no "factory reset" for a hard drive. For an external, portable hard drive all you do is plug it in to a USB port. In addition, the My Passport drive requires that you install the WD SES driver from here: http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/search/1/a_id/5419

If you can't see drive letter for the drive, it may just need one assigning manually:

Control Panel > Admin Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management
In the bottom-right panel, find the ribbon which relates to the Passport drive (No name & "RAW" file system).
Right-click and choose Change Drive Letter & Paths.
Click "Add"
Choose a letter.
Click 'OK'.
