Question Failed Disk full

Whenever I try to download a file that’s 6gb+ Chrome and every other browser I use stops the download and says failed disk full. Thing is my hard drive does not have enough space to download the file so I got an sd card with enough space to download it. It downloads everything but that file. I don’t know if there is a size limit that I can download a file or is it that the browser can only download to c drive only. I’ve tried everything including going into chrome settings and changing the location of downloads to my d drive directory. If anyone could help I’d appreciate it.

Is your drive actually full?
If so, FIX THAT.

Please show us a screencap of your Disk Management window.

Changing the download folder from your Chrome settings should have done the job unless the other drive is full too. Do not full your OS drive.

Thanks for the fast responses. Even though the hard drive has 9gb free on it, I can barely download 6gb because it fills up quickly and gives me the failed disk full error. Same thing with the D drive.

Your "C drive" of 32GB is FULL.
That size drive or partition will NOT work for a current Windows OS.

Okay thanks but would you know any other way to download using the d drive without any errors from a browser like chrome?

What are the whole specs on this device?
What will you use this 6GB file for? What is it?
