"Failure! Please check your inputs."

I have a generic Xfinity router, and I get this error when trying to forward a port. I can open the menu, put in the name of the rule and the ports, select my computer from the "Connected Device" list, but when I hit save it gives me this error. What can I do?

The messages says "I don't like what you just told me" except of course it doesn't tell you exactly what it doesn't like.

No idea, looks good from here. Some firmware are stupidly quirky like that. Wish I had a better answer.

I restarted my router and it started working again.
