Want to upgrade, not sure what I should charge (on craigslist) for my old (or current) CPU and GPU.

I want to get rid of this Athlon-ii X4 760k (3.8 Ghz) and Nvidia 750GTX-1GB

Any ideas?

Ebay's a good place to find the current value of things. Search for what you want to sell and filter the results by "Sold Items". A good price for that X4 760K would be between $40-60 depending on whatever you're including with it (heat sink, compound, etc). The GTX 750 can be a little trickery. What brand is it? Regardless of that though you could still get around $70-80 for it. Feel free to inflate them a little if you plan on haggling.

Brand new they'd be about $180 together ($80 for the CPU, $100 for the card). The 2GB 750GTX goes for a good bit more, and Amazon shows the 1GB used to sell for $100 when it was in production.

eBay shows they go for about $60 each if they're used. On Craigslist, you could try $120 and figure you'd get around $100 total. If you sold them for $120 on eBay you'd end up with about $100 and CL buyers know that.

I decided to upgrade my CPU to an i3-6100 based on the recommendation of another forum user. So am thinking I'll sell the CPU/Board (BIOSTAR Hi-Fi A85S3 FM2) combo for 75?

And the CPU for 60 ish. It is trending on Ebay now for like 62 bucks.

Kind of a different topic (though will appreciate any feedback on the latest posted prices)-- but would an I3 be worth the upgrade now, does anyone think, or would it be better to wait until October for AMDs new Zen line of CPUs? I mean, do you anticipate the price and performance would beat and match (respectively) an i3/5?
