Hello everyone,
Since I am on vacation in China, I decided to hunt deals on taobao, which is basically a very big online market. I found a very interesting CPU that should be an i5 4440S, but for half the price. The seller was kind enough to included a picture of CPU Z, below.

Compared that to a regular i5 4440S, only one line doesn't match, the "specification". Here's a link to a real i5 4440S from CPU Z validator.

I'm not sure if this CPU is a real engineering sample, or like one of those fake GTX 960 that are actually just 550 ti. Should I try to buy it or not? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

buying parts online is a risk you should be willing to take.
half price should mean it's under 50$
beside the 0000 for CPU model it looks OK. but even if you were provided with a perfect screenshot, it only means that the seller has a perfect screenshot XD

Unfortunately since I am on the other side of the globe, I don't have my test bench. The CPU looks to me like an engineering sample, but I could be wrong, and without any hardware to test it, the CPU-Z screenshot is all I have.
