Question SSD wont show up when i disable CSM, even if it's GPT ?

In order for me to play a game I need to enable secure boot. When I turn off CSM in BIOS to enable secure boot my NVME is no longer in my disk manager when I boot windows. I have looked high and low for answers and cannot find anything concrete. My BIOS( B450 AORUS PRO WIFI) is in UEFI, not legacy. Thanks for the help.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

List of all connected peripherals.

Wired or wireless network?

What game? Source?

I take it that you installed the OS while the BIOS was in CSM mode and in MBR instead of GPT. What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? Is fTPM enabled in BIOS?

Yes the OS was installed while the BIOS was in CSM. The drive that windows is installed on is formatted in GPT. My BIOS version is F51 and I don't believe TPM is on.

After you disabled CSM,
did you enroll default platform keys?

Show these screenshots after disabling csm:

Disk Management,

Windows Storage Spaces (Control Panel/Storage Spaces),

Device Manager - disk drives and storage controllers sections expanded.

Windows Storage Spaces you can find in Control Panel.
Open Control Panel, then find Storage Spaces, open it and show screenshot.

The drive in question is a samsung 990 m.2. I want to play the Battlefield 6 beta which requires secure boot enabled.

Windows 10
3070
Ryzen 5 3700x
Wireless network
Nothing connected except my two monitors, keyboard, etc

I did not, as soon as I booted and saw my NVME wasn't being recongized I turn CSM back on.

You have to enroll default platform keys or
Secure Boot doesn't get turned on.

Sure, but my problem isn't turning on secure boot. I did that it works fine, my problem is that without CSM my M.2 doesn't show up in disk management and I don't know why.

Can you show requested screenshots after disabling csm?

Also - make sure you disable Fast Boot.
And check if NVME drive is being detected in BIOS after disabling csm.

See yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager for NVME Controller.
Reinstall NVME drivers.

Clear secure boot keys, then reboot.
Load/enroll default platform keys.

secure boot isn't on just CSM off. Do I have to update my BIOS? Or change the slot where my NVME is?

You can try changing M.2 slot.

Just keep in mind that software beta versions may have or may lead to all sorts of issues.

Especially if the source location is not truly that of that of the game's vendor.
