Fallout crashes on launch with windows 10

So I got Fallout 3 with my new upgrade on Windows 10.
When I try to run it on steam my computer says Fallout 3 isn't compatible with this version of windows. Then on the Fallout 3 launcher when I click play it crashes.
I have tried multiple fixed but they are all for windows 7 and 8. None of them have worked.

Exactly the reason why I did not bother to upgrade to Windows 10. I am replaying FO3 (DVD version) now since FO4 is coming out in November. I probably will not upgrade to Win 10 until Service Pack 1 is released.

You are probably better off checking the Steam forums for Fallout 3 for possible solutions by people who have upgraded to Win 10 and are currently trying to figure out a way to play the game.

Do you suggest ho back to windows 8.1?

Yep, cuz it is going to take time for someone to figure out a way to get the game to run with Win 10... assuming that is possible.

Upgrade to Win 10 after you have completed Fallout 3.
