Fan is now at 100% after my mistake

So long story short....I was messing with the 4-pin fan connector and suddenly spark happened.
It smelled like smoke for a few seconds...I disconnected everything fast....I turned it on and everything works perfect or so...except that one fan is running at 100% now when I used to be able to control it with software...any ideas??

I have 5 fans so I don't mind taking it off but if I can find a way to fix this or anyone ever heard of a fan going at 100% after a spark? regulator or something broke ???
Any help would be appreciated!!

Try switching it with another fan and see if that fan runs at 100% too. That way you can rule out the fan at least.

It actually might be the fan I had done that and I didn't realize that the fan might be the broken one...I'll test it in another fan slot just in case...I'll be happy as heq if it's the fan....I really dodge a bullet nonetheless
