Hi

I'm looking to build my first pc. The case will be the N450RoG, and I really want to be able to see 2 Aer140 RGB fans on top, but I also want to put my radiator(NZXT Kraken X52) on top, with its stock radiator fans.
So, will I be able to put the radiator inside the case chassis, with the AerRGBs below it pushing air, and the stock radiator fans(AerP)above it, outside the cassis pulling air? Will that be good for cooling?
Because I guess if only radiator fans pulling is normal, so the Aer RGB will even help.
Thank you

Thats a beautiful case. But that fan setup wont be good as the Aer140 aren't static pressure optimized. Push Pull configuration works but same RPM fan model is better. If you want RGB, you can go for corsair ML series or Thermaltake Ring series. Also you can mount the radiator in the front after taking out all the HDD cages, and use the stock radiator fans as intake which works best.
[P.S: There isn't much difference in temps when using push-pull rather than push only]

Thanks, but I want to stick to NZXT for case, and cooling, because the case has a fan hub and I also want to buy the HUE+.
So, will it not be good to do the AerRGB->Rad->Stock rad fans? Because I really want to see the Aer RGB, but I also think that putting the rad on top is better than on the front. Btw do you know if I will have to take all the HDD cages if I want to place the X62 (not X52, the X62 is 280mm)in the front?
Thanks

Yeah it will be a bad idea to use the AerRGB on the rad. And no, putting the radiator in the front gives better air cooling and flow in the case. You dont have to take out all the cages if using 280mm rad, if you are using 360mm rad, then yes. Considering the x62 is 280mm, you can leave the last one at the bottom, but i will advice you to take out all the cages, coz it will make the case look beautiful.

Thanks
I wont take all cages because I need to put my 3tb hdd somewhere. What if Im using the X52,will I not need to have only 1 HDD cage?

Dont worry, you dont need HDD cages, you can mount the HDD at the very bottom of the case beside the PSU, it gives a very clean look and also the cooling in the case will be better. And also i will advice you to mount the SSD's at the back of the case and not on the psu cover mount. With the lighting and all, the case will look amazing.

You mean just leave the HDD hanging somewhere?
OK but also it wont look better without hdd cages because I cant even see them, the window covers half the case

No, why would it be hanging? you mount it at the very bottom with 4 screws. If you wish you could keep the cages, and mount the rad on the top with a different static pressure RGB fans, the Aer P is a static pressure fan but i dont think it has an RGB version.

Thanks.
I guess I have decided already.
Radiator on the front, with the RGB fans on top, and the hdd either on a cage or in the bottom as you say,
But please ell me, why would the case look best without cages, and where actually do you mount the hdd besides the cages, because the bay on top of the psu shroud I think are all 2.5.
Thanks

I wasnt saying about the psu shroud cover, although you can mount it there by first taking out the 2.5" mounting bays which are removable. I was talking about the bottom of the case beside the psu, you can mount the HDD there, by using screws to hook up the HDD from beneath. Leave the last cage in the front, it will be easier. While hooking up the GPU, if you buy one with 3 fans, first of all there are problems with clearance and also leaving the HDD cages make the look clustered.

[P.S: I dont personally own the case, i saw one of my colleague use it]

Okay so the only cage that I should leave is the bottom one?
Yes the gpu is the strix 1080ti oc from asus Im quite sure it has 3 fans.
Thank you so much
