Alright so i have a 7950. Had it for 2-3 years. Now i want to upgrade to a rx 480. Which is already ordered, but i want to sell the 7950 for a new headset.

but theres a ticking noise with the fan on the 7950. Only way to get rid of it is to turn up the fan speed to 38-39 on afterburner. anything below that you hear it.

so i was what could the problem be, and how much it would be to fix it. cause other than that its in perfect shape.

this is the 7950 https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/b1722/sapphire-hd-7950-dual-x-with-boost

Solution
It might be unbalanced but you can try putting some new lubricant in if you want. Here's a tutorial, it's pretty easy

so it would be the same for the fan on gpu?

Yeah, they're just sleeve bearing fans, not that complicated.
